Christian Gonzalez is a very polite young man who is currently a student at Vista High School who wants to pursue a career in the medical field. He is currently an Oceanside resident and strives to make his family, community, and himself better in many ways. Christian is in the PLA (Personalized Learning Academy) that was just introduced last year in which he was a part of. Recently Vista High School was in the super school XQ grant and won his role in the PLA was a small part to making a leap to getting the grant. He likes to be challenged both academically and in extra circulars.
Christian is involved in no clubs at school but is very interested in learning more about his interest in becoming a nurse and has an ambition in pursuing in what he desires. Christian is involved with the varsity cross country and track team. He is a captain along with one other person on the cross country team. He is the #1 runner on the cross country team and has excelled in that sport ever since joining his sophomore year. Christians junior year he was a solid varsity runner but his senior hes an even better runner. Track & Field he is the best distance runner in track he competes in events such as the 1600m (the mile), 3200m (the 2 mile), and the 800m (2 laps around the track). Christian has excelled at a rapid pace then when he started but his extra circulars dont define who christian is a a student athlete. His main focus is in his studies and school work. Mr. Stuckey, his history teacher has helped him get a deeper understanding of our world and what special events occurred that relates to what we are investigating as a group and as a class to understand each side to what we have researched and discuss as a class.
